1. About Gorendi

Gorendi ("we", "our", "the Platform") is an online marketplace that connects owners of motorhomes, caravans, camping spots and travel equipment with people who want to rent them. The Platform is accessible at gorendi.com.

Gorendi acts solely as an intermediary. We are not a party to any rental agreement between owners and renters. All rental transactions, including payments, insurance and vehicle condition, are the responsibility of the parties involved.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gorendi, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. User Accounts

To list items or make bookings, you must create an account by providing a valid email address or signing in with Google. You agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information during registration. Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Identity Verification

Identity verification is optional and free. If you choose to verify, you upload a photo of a government-issued document and enter your name as shown on it. The document photo is used only to confirm your identity and is permanently deleted once a decision is made. We do not store document images or numbers. A single document can be linked to only one account, which helps prevent fake or duplicate profiles. You must submit only your own genuine document; submitting forged, altered or another person’s document is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

4. Listing Rules for Owners

If you list a motorhome, caravan, camping spot or travel equipment on Gorendi, you agree to:

Provide accurate descriptions, pricing and photographs of your listing. Only list items that you legally own or have authorisation to rent out. Keep your availability calendar and pricing up to date. Respond to booking requests within a reasonable timeframe (24 hours). Ensure your motorhome or caravan is roadworthy, properly insured and meets all local legal requirements. Ensure your camping spot meets local safety and environmental regulations.

Gorendi reserves the right to review, reject, or remove any listing that does not meet our quality standards, violates these terms, or is reported by users.

5. Booking Process

Renters can request to book a listing by selecting dates and submitting a booking request. The owner can accept or decline the request. A booking is only confirmed when the owner explicitly accepts it through the Platform.

Gorendi does not currently process payments. All financial arrangements, including deposits, rental fees, and payment methods, are agreed upon directly between the owner and the renter. Gorendi is not responsible for any payment disputes between parties.

6. Cancellations

Either party may cancel a confirmed booking through the Platform. We encourage both owners and renters to communicate cancellations as early as possible. Gorendi is not responsible for any costs, losses or inconvenience resulting from cancellations by either party.

7. Reviews & Ratings

After a completed booking, renters may leave a review and rating. Reviews must be honest, fair and based on your actual experience. We do not allow reviews that contain personal attacks, hate speech, discriminatory language, false or misleading claims, spam or advertising, or content unrelated to the rental experience.

Gorendi reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

8. Penalty Points System

To maintain platform quality, owners who consistently fail to respond to booking requests within 24 hours may receive penalty points. Accumulating penalty points may result in warnings, temporary listing suspension, or account restrictions. Details of the penalty system are outlined in the owner dashboard. Owners have a grace period during their first bookings on the platform.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use the Platform to engage in fraudulent, misleading or deceptive activity. Post false, inaccurate or misleading listings. Harass, threaten or abuse other users. Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or policies. Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights. Use automated tools, bots or scrapers to access the Platform. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other user accounts.

10. Content & Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the content they upload (photos, descriptions, reviews). By uploading content to Gorendi, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of providing our services.

All other Platform content, including design, logos and software, is the property of Gorendi and may not be copied or used without permission.

11. Photo Moderation

All uploaded photos are automatically reviewed for inappropriate content. We reserve the right to reject or remove photos that contain explicit, offensive or irrelevant material. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

12. Limitation of Liability

Gorendi provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the behaviour of users, or the condition of any motorhome, caravan, camping spot or equipment listed on the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gorendi shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, any rental transaction between users, the condition, safety or legality of any listed item, any loss, theft, damage or injury during a rental period, or any dispute between owners and renters.

Users are strongly encouraged to arrange their own insurance, inspect vehicles and equipment before use, and verify camping spot conditions upon arrival.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, we encourage both parties to communicate directly and attempt to resolve the issue amicably. You may contact us at [email protected] for assistance, but Gorendi is not obligated to mediate or resolve disputes between users.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the European Union, including applicable EU consumer protection regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
